SAN ANTONIO –
Aug 15, 2006:
The field of the
AT&T
Championship
presented by
Alcatel became
even stronger
this week with
the addition of
commitments from
Champions Tour
rookies Scott
Hoch and Chip
Beck.
Scott Hoch, an
eleven time
winner on the
PGA Tour, will
be making his
third start on
the Champions
Tour. A winner
at Doral in
2003, Hoch is
battling back
from a hand
injury that has
forced him to
miss almost all
of 2005 and
2006.
Chip Beck, a
four time tour
winner, has had
a wonderful
start to his
Champions Tour
career with top
five finishes in
his first two
events. He
currently stands
41st
on the money
list and seems
poised to make a
run at the
Charles Schwab
Cup
Championship.
“It’s shaping up
to be the
typical, strong
AT&T
Championship
field” says
Colby Callaway,
AT&T
Championship
Tournament
Director. “Both
Scott and Chip
bring a
competitive
element to the
Championship
that golf fans
will truly
enjoy.”
The AT&T
Championship is
a PGA Champions
Tour event,
managed by Pro
Links Sports.
The event and
will be played
at famed Oak

Club in San
Antonio from

through the 22nd,
2006. All
