SPEND A BUCK WITH THE CHAMPIONS TOUR WIVES
FOR A GOOD CAUSE
. |
April 29, 2006 -
Austin: While you're at The
Hills this weekend, look by the cart path located near the
green for hole Number-5 (near the Pro-Shop) and you will see a good
looking gal at a table selling those little flexible
wristbands that have become so popular these days.
This is the work of the
Champions Tour Wives Association. The sell of these
wristbands benefits various women's and children's charities
around the country selected by CTWA. So while the guys are
out making birdies, the gals are making bucks for charity
via these wristbands. Very commendable, in our opinion.
Yes, that lady working the
table is a real "Champions Tour" player's wife. When we
bought ours today, Soozi Pate, wife of Champions Tour Player
Jerry Pate, was handling the sales honors. She stated
that they have target of selling 100,000 of the wristbands
and they have already sold an amazing 50,000. Soozi also
commented on how enjoyable it was meeting all the folks at
the CT Tournaments throughout the year.
The wristbands come in large and small, are only $1 dollar,
and all the proceeds go to charitable cause. On the top of
that, they look really cool.
As our broker would say...BUY!
