Friday Night Tips from The Tour - Week 6
|
|
Greetings!
Only two weeks left in our Friday Night Tips
from The Tour, and we've had a lot of fun!
Don't miss these last two - especially
Friday's session on putting. Its Masters week
and Augusta National is known for their
greens, so this week's session is very timely
indeed! |

Week 6 - Putting - or 'Still Your
Turn'
A couple of years ago, a player on
tour was asked how he prepared for
the slick greens of Augusta. He
told the announcer he'd been
practice putting in his garage on
the concrete slab! And then there
are those greens where the
really creative figure
the best way to get it close to
the hole is to putt away from the
pin and play the slope. Most of
the greens played in every day
golf aren't 'tour fast,' but you
do run into the downhill,
double-breaker every now and then.
Friday we'll teach you how to putt
the tough ones!
Come out to The Bandit Golf Club
this Friday at 5:30 and learn how to
evaluate and putt the knee knockers!

Week 7 - Iron shots - How To Hit
Them Close!
You've hit your drive down the
middle and it's in the right
fairway, too!! That's just great.
Now, you've got 135 to the green
and your buddies are making bets
on how far away from the pin
this shot will end up.
Let them make their bets because
in two weeks you're going to clean
up and we're going to help!
Week 7 we'll teach you how to hit it
close like the pros and have a
better chance at birdie! The session
starts at 5:30.
