During the past five years in Texas alone, nine high school football players have suffered severe spinal cord injuries.  These players and their families undergo tremendous financial and emotional hardships resulting from theses injuries.

Gridiron Heroes Spinal Cord Injury Organization (GHSCIO) has teamed with Eltekon Financial to sponsor the Eltekon Celebrity Classic, which will feature several current and former NFL stars to raise money to support its efforts.

This Thursday morning, representatives from each group will be on hand to answer questions about the issue and the golf tournament, which will be held in early May.
