It's getting close to that time of year in the Hill Country
where the PGA PRO's (both young & not so young) bring their
game to San Antonio.
The Valero Texas Open is first on the dance
card. The VTO will be held the week of September 19th. The
Resort Course at La Cantera is once again the host for this
long-time event. Early commits (subject to change) for the
VTO include Jason Gore, Geoff Ogilvy, Pat Perez, and Ted
Purdy. Father-Son story of the year
Sean O'Hair is also listed as a
hopeful show.

Coming the week
of October 17th is the CHAMPIONS TOUR with the SBC
Championship being held for the 3rd year at Oak Hills CC.
Although the field is weeks away from being finalized, Oak
Hills is a great venue for the event that usually features
the likes of Irwin, Morgan, Stadler, Thorpe, Nelson, and Quigley, to
name just a few of the greats that accentuate the CHAMPIONS
TOUR.
Hopefully last
year's Champion Mark McNulty will also be on tap for this
